Neighborhood News
No posts for a while...huge website project at PTA that is slamming me right now. Plus no word on my book, so my motivation is fizzling. Anyway, here is an outstanding post on Alan Mutter's blog written by Joe H. Bullard, a former managing editor of the Denver Post. He advocates shifting editing resources to reporting resources and letting reporters cover hyper-local news in a 12-block geographic area. He also laments the demise of zoned editions. Good ideas.
